Happy Holidays

In Time of Need, Inc. is seeking community partners to assist 200 families this holiday season. Individuals and local business are asked to participate in the form of volunteers, donations of food and beverages, and monetary contributions. A family of 6 can be fed with a small contribution of $30, so feel free to adopt a family. This has been a trying year for many families, and your small contribution could be the reason that a child is smiling on Thanksgiving Day.

How would you feel if you didn't think you would have a meal on Thanksgiving? How would you feel if you had chilrden and were going through this? Would you want an ANGEL to bless you? You can be that ANGEL for at least one family!

As was done in prior years, food was purchased with money raised by In Time of Need, Inc. and delivered to the families on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving by volunteers.  Some of the youth involved with In Time of Need, Inc. also assist with the shopping for and delivery of the food. "It's important for young people to see how they can impact the lives of others, even if it's just giving up some of their free time to deliver food," states Mr. Dorian Williams, the founder and president/CEO of In Time of Need, Inc. "It shows that they do care." Williams hopes that keeping the youth involved in such activities will nurture their desire to volunteer.

Social Services has a list of families that are in need, but they do not have the means to support them for the holidays. Many of these families recieve food stamps but in many cases they have been used earlier in the month. Thanksgiving can be that one day that you make a difference.
