The concept of the New Horizons Student Success Center is to support the at-risk student in education. Its purpose is basically to improve the quality of life for communities across the United States. The New Horizons Student Success Center will bridge the gap between at-risk/disadvantaged student and post-secondary education, by offering FREE exceptional programs to assist the at-risk/disadvantaged student to excel academically. We endeavor to promote post secondary educational services by making opportunities available to the families of at-risk youth that they might not otherwise have access to. We believe that the success of students in education will lead to their professional success and, in turn, create future opportunities for their communities. New Horizons Student Success Center is a new and innovative program created to bridge the gap between at-risk/disadvantaged youth and post-secondary education. Once an at-risk youth enters post-secondary education, that individual now has opportunity and is no longer at-risk. The youth in this program will be well prepared by SAT/ACT preparation, tutoring, leadership workshops, working as a team, exposure to travel outside of their environment, and preparation for the post-secondary experience.
