Breaking The Cycle focuses on providing mentorships and guidance to youth that have family members that have made critical mistakes in their lives,. It is imperative that we reach out to these youth with ways to prevent them from making the same mistakes. This program focuses on those youth who come from various unfortunate situations within the household, including: (1) Young girls in which their mother may have had them at a very young age (2) Teenage mothers (3) Youth who have parent(s) that were/are inprisoned (4) addicted to drugs and/or alcohol (5)and possibly participated in or contributed to neglectful behavior. We will also make every effort to deal with youth that have parents that were sexually abused as a youth
